Liverpool bars - Hardman Street
Hardman Street is a very popular area within the City and the street and surrounding areas are home to some brilliant bars.
The area is popular with students due to the close proximity of the University, which ensures that the area is lively all through the week.
Hardman Street is an uphill walk from the very central areas but don’t let this put you off as it is well worth the effort. You will be rewarded with some great bars and pubs.
The area is home to some award winning real ale pubs as well as trendy bars and this street runs right into Hope Street where another wide selection of bars and pubs can be found.

The Fly In The Loaf
The fly in the loaf has an excellent range of beers, real ale and lager, as well as brilliant food served throughout the whole week. The pub is very lively at the weekends with a mixture of young and old but the pub is very spacious and can easily accommodate the numbers.
The Flute and Firkin
The Flute is very popular with students as is the whole area around Hardman Street due to the close proximity of Liverpool University. Pub grub is available, drinks are relatively cheap and an area is given over to dancing later on in the busy weekend nights.
The Pilgrim
The Pilgrim has a great atmosphere and regularly puts on live music. The table tops all have a mosaic on top spelling out the names of various types of beer. Real ale is available as well as the usual lagers. The Pilgrim serves a large and legendary a ll day breakfast which must be seen to be believed.
