Liverpool bars - Hope Street
Hope Street is situated at the heart of the Creative Quarter of the City and you can see how the area gets its name as Hope Street has two theatres along this road and another on an adjacent side street.
There is an abundance of drinking options in this area with many different choices for a night out from traditional pubs like the Philharmonic Dining Halls which serves real ale to more contemporary bars like Magnet. There is enough around these parts to keep you happy for the whole night without needed to go off searching elsewhere.

The Casa Bar
The Casa was started by ex-dockers who bought the premises after they lost their jobs during the 1990’s and has been a large success ever since. Beers are a mixture of local and international and there is a large bistro which serves a large selection of food.
The Pilgrim
The Pilgrim has a great atmosphere and regularly puts on live music. The table tops all have a mosaic on top spelling out the names of various types of beer. Real ale is available as well as the usual lagers. The Pilgrim serves a large and legendary a ll day breakfast which must be seen to be believed.
Everyman Bistro and Bars
A good option for a drink and something to eat even if you are not taking in one of the shows. There is a nice selection of real ale available as well as bottled beers and a selection inexpensive of wines. The bistro prepares food from local ingredients and has a canteen style for food collection rather than the usual table service.
