Queen Square bars Liverpool

Liverpool bars - Queen Square

Queen Square was a new area created in the heart of the City during the 90's when the whole area was regenerated after years of neglect. The area is still growing and there are numerous bars as well as restaurants to be enjoyed. Queen Square is a five minute walk from Lime Street Station and can be viewed as soon as you leave the station with the Marriot Hotel prominent straight ahead.

Queen Square is situated only five minutes walk away from the Empire theatre, three minutes walk away from The Royal Court Theatre and a further 3 minutes walk from the Playhouse so is an ideal area for a drink before or after a show in one of these venues.

The Rat & Parrot

Decent chain bar situated only minutes away from Lime Street train station and right next to the bus station. The usual selection of beers and a well presented décor with a crowd made up off students and locals makes for a lively atmosphere. Pub Food is also available during the daytime.
